I used expanded foam and sprayed it with white paint. Since this work focuses on touch, I wanted people to interact with and grab the sculptures as they ascend or descend the stairs. As the staircase is made of metal, the foam creates a contrast between the materials.

One of the senses that people encounter every day is the sense of touch, so they don't feel strange when touching familiar things. Therefore, I hope the audience can experience sensations when they encounter the work and awaken their senses. I believe that as opportunities for physical interaction increase, the relationship between the artist and the audience becomes closer. Through this work, I aim for the audience to become more sensitive and appreciative of their fundamental human senses.
